Suicide First Aid Lite Course

Who Is It For?

As with the one day Suicide First Aid course, the Lite version is also for anyone seeking a greater understanding of suicide. But who also wishes to develop the confidence to be able to identify someone thinking about suicide and help them stay safe and alive.

For employees in people management, such as line managers we would recommend the one day course.

But the Lite version can be a powerful introduction for all employees and can be used as precursor to the one day course.

Senior leaders, such as board members, who may not be ready to commit to a full day of training, can still show leadership by joining the conversation around mental health and help the organisation be explicit about its purpose to address the stigma of suicide.

HR professionals and Wellbeing champions are ideal candidates to complete this course too.
