Interiors For Wellbeing

The physical environment in which we work has a significant impact on both physical and psychological wellbeing
… and therefore performance too.

What Role Now For The Office?

Of course, the pandemic fast-tracked changes to our working patterns and locations.

Even with the prevalence of hybrid working, the workplace is still the environment in which most employees spend the majority of their working days*

Aside from the pandemic, business changes can also impact office dynamics. Perhaps there’s a change in the structure of the company and the teams within it. Or simply that the existing space needs re-energising.

Whatever the reason, you’re likely to be among the many Companies who are re-evaluating the role the Office plays.

Is it a place Employees want to come to?

Does it facilitate improved ways of working, such as collaboration?

Do we even need the same size office?

Could we make the space work in a different way?

Many workplaces need some support and guidance on these questions.

Our Approach

Our Approach

We recognise that your requirements and the amount of support you need may be different from our other clients.
Therefore we have 4 options, from a ‘light touch’ to full project management:

1. Consultation & Suggestions

Visit your premises to observe current layout, dynamics.

Discussion to understand some of the things you’d like to see or like to improve.

What you receive: A report detailing some ideas that you could implement. This could be anything from your lighting and colour to acoustics and furniture.

2. Consultation & Scoping

As No.1, plus …

Observational study and/or user engagement process – the level and duration to be agreed with you.

What you receive: Mood board showing colours, textures, products recommended

3. Full Design

As No.2, plus …

Fully designed 3D renderings, material specifications etc.

4. Full Design & Project Managed

As No.3, plus …

We would also manage the installation, build etc

Some companies, of course, take this approach.

Generally, it’s a colleague who is keen on interiors generally, or office interiors specifically, but who often has no experience of what is involved not only in the design, but the management of the project.

Often, assumptions are made, such as we need more space.

But what if you actually need less?!

Our job is to use our experience to really understand what you need and deliver a solution that supports the new day to day needs of today’s (and tomorrow’s) workforce.

The pandemic changed their expectations.

We listen to you and your employees and seek to deliver an environment in which they have a say.

Often it can be meeting some relatively basic needs such as instant hot and cold water, good coffee, better storage (for coats and bags), as well as bikes storage.

Meeting such needs means greater efficiency and they can focus on doing their best work.

Other times it might be meeting their needs in terms of how they now work – perhaps they need more collaboration space, but your current layout doesn’t support this effectively.

Whatever the components, our aim is to help you make the workplace a place to thrive.
