Who Is It For?
This course is exclusively for people who have previously attended a 3 day First Aid at Work course.
To re-qualify it is necessary to complete this course either:
Before the certificate has expired
Or no more than one month after the expiry on the certificate.
What Does The Individual Gain?
The course is designed to refresh the skills initially learnt 3 years previously.
It will reinforce the knowledge and confidence gained previously, as well as updating with new information and techniques where appropriate.
The course re-qualifies the participant, enabling them to continue to have the competence and confidence to provide emergency care to a casualty.

Course Content
The course is a condensed version of the First Aid at Work.
Format
Training can be either on-site*, or at a local training venue.
Our aim is not only to get participants through a course and gain a qualification.
It’s also to do it in an engaging and enjoyable way.
Our instructors are experienced at delivering courses using a variety of media including video and presentations and encourage hands-on learning and practice to reinforce learning.
Maximum number in a training course will be 12.

Assessment
Your instructor will provide on-going assessment, rather than a final assessment.
Takeaways
A certificate, which complies with the HSE’s First Aid Training Policy, will be issued upon completion.
This will be valid for 3 years.
A First Aid training manual will also be issued.
